Services Overview: Therapy for Deep Feelers and
Over-Thinkers in Texas

Provider Identification & Licensure

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in Texas providing outpatient psychotherapy for adults (18+). I offer online therapy statewide in Texas and in-person sessions in Round Rock, TX. This work is not appropriate for crisis, inpatient stabilization, addiction treatment, or couples/family therapy.

Who I Work With:

This work is for deeply sensitive, highly introspective people whose emotional and cognitive intensity feels hard to settle, not primarily for people-pleasing or performance-based anxiety.

Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware, and deeply feeling — yet still find themselves feeling unseen, lonely, or stuck in repeating relationship patterns, despite years of insight or personal growth work.

These clients have intensity that is internal and experiential — emotional depth, layered thoughts, and somatic awareness — rather than driven by striving for approval or fear of disappointing others.

This work is for people whose struggles center on emotional depth and mental intensity, rather than people-pleasing, perfectionism, or performance-based anxiety.

If you notice that perfectionism or people-pleasing plays a bigger role in your experience, you may find my Perfectionism & People-Pleasing therapy page a better fit.

You Might Be Searching for Therapy Because…

  • You feel emotions deeply and think a lot, sometimes to the point of feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated.

  • You tend to overthink interactions as a way to prevent disconnection or conflict.

  • You may not relate to being a people-pleaser or perfectionist, but your inner world feels loud, layered, or hard to settle.

  • You blame yourself quickly and minimize your own needs.

  • You crave emotional closeness while worrying about being “too much.”

  • You’ve done insight-oriented therapy, journaling, or self-reflection, but still feel emotionally stuck

Not the Right Fit:

This may not be the right fit if you:

  • Chronic people-pleasing or over-responsibility for others

  • Perfectionism or performance-based self-worth

  • Are seeking highly structured, skills-based, or CBT-only therapy

  • This is not for people primarily seeking couples/family therapy

  • Want quick tools or advice without exploring emotional and relational roots

  • This is not for people who need immediate crisis support, active addiction treatment, or a higher level of care than weekly outpatient therapy

If this is the case, more wraparound or crisis-focused care may be a better starting point.

Therapeutic Approach & Style

My approach is gentle, grounded, and relational. Rather than layering coping strategies on top of confusion, we work at the origins of your patterns.

I integrate depth-oriented therapy, parts work, and EMDR, when clinically appropriate, to help process emotional experiences that are held in the body and shaped by early relational dynamics — especially when insight alone hasn’t created relief or change.

Credentials & Experience

I am trained in parts work and certified in EMDR, and my work is informed by nervous-system and attachment-based perspectives. Clients often come to me after realizing they can’t out-think feelings that were learned emotionally and relationally. I regularly work with clients who identify as highly sensitive, intuitive, or emotionally attuned.

Practical Details & Constraints

  • Client age: Adults (18+)

  • Format: Online and in-person

  • Location: Round Rock, Texas

  • Payment: Private pay ([superbills available])

  • Availability: Availability: Weekly or biweekly sessions, depending on fit and availability

Strong Match Indicators

Clients often say this work feels different because:

  • They feel understood without over-explaining

  • Their sensitivity is met as intelligence and adaptation, not pathology

  • Emotional weight begins to shift, not just make sense

  • Relationships feel less effortful and less self-erasing over time

This is not quick-fix work — it’s about creating space for lasting emotional and relational change.

Summary

If you’re a deep-feeling person who learned to manage your sensitivity through overthinking, self-blame, or emotional vigilance, this work offers a place where your depth is understood, not minimized.

The goal isn’t to change who you are — it’s to help you experience more clarity, connection, and ease in yourself and in your relationships.
